The Opeoluwa Sotonwa Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 2022, functions under the conviction that Nigeria has an untapped source of leaders, the Deaf community.

Our Foundation provides scholarships to members of our community who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their educational goals. Opeoluwa Sotonwa Foundation will serve as a channel for raising future Nigerian Deaf Leaders through scholarship, mentorship, retreats, and supporting like-minded worthy causes.

We focus on breaking down barriers for indigent deaf students.
About Us
The Opeoluwa Sotonwa Foundation is a nonprofit organization birthed by our founder Chief Dr. Opeoluwa Sotonwa, who became deaf at sixteen and had to withdraw from school.
He had first-hand experiences of discrimination against people with disabilities and could relate to how students with disability struggle to achieve their educational aspirations.
These experiences shaped his life’s passion for public services and using his God-given talents to fight for the less privileged.
